Degrees and Certifications:

Stephanie Scroggins

Hello! My name is Stephanie Scroggins and I'm an ACAT Family One teacher! This is my second year at Webster and I'm super excited to be back with my Wildcat family for another great school year :)

I grew up right here in Livonia and attended Livonia Public Schools K-12 (Go Chargers!). I was a substitute teacher working all over the LPS district (K-6) before I completed my student teaching at Kennedy Elementary in 3rd grade. I graduated with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University in 2021 and then stepped into a long-term position in 1st grade to close out the 20-21 school year. In addition, I was a reading tutor for Brainspring Learning Center, which focuses on a multi-sensory literacy program using the Orton Gillingham approach. Now, I'm so thrilled and proud to call Webster my home!

My teaching philosophy is rooted strongly in building a positive and nurturing classroom community. My students will grow to truly become a family and will learn so much (academically, socially, and emotionally) in our 2 years together. Communication and relationships with students and their families is very important to me.

A little bit about me: My family and I live in Livonia. My husband and I have been married for 10 years and we have a 6 year old daughter and a 1 year old son.

I love to travel, be active, go camping, do yoga, go to the beach, ride bikes, be with family, try new restaurants, and watch movies.

I look forward to learning together, growing together, and most of all- having fun! :)
