Mr. Nicholas Ploucha

Coolidge and Kennedy families,

My name is Nicholas Ploucha (Coach P).  I am thrilled to be joining the LPS community for the 2022-2023 school year.  This is my 16th year in education and 8th in elementary education.  

I graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2006 with a BA in teaching K-12 Physical Education and 6-12 health.  In 2012, I graduated from the University of Michigan - Dearborn with a Masters in Educational Leadership.

I am lucky enough to have been married to my best friend for the past 19 years.  We have been blessed with two amazing children.  Michael is 12 and attends Holmes Middle School.  Carli, 6, attends Hoover Elementary.

In my spare time, I coach football at Livonia Churchill and, for the past 7 years, coached bowling at Divine Child High School in Dearborn.

I look forward to meeting all of the incredible families and having a wonderful year.
