Mrs. Bice

As an Elementary Support Teacher, I work with students and families to provide emotional, social, academic and behavioral support.  Additionally, I help with Individualized Health Care Plans and medical authorizations for students with medical needs requiring a plan to keep them safe during school. I have worked with children for over twenty years in elementary, high school and the child welfare system.  As a licensed social worker, I received my master's degree at Wayne State University.  I am passionate about helping children be healthy and happy as they learn and grow.

Parenting is extremely difficult and all children present challenges throughout their development.  When working with families, I seek to understand the needs and offer ideas in a caring, nonjudgmental way.  When working directly with students, I focus on building a strong, caring relationship.  I like to identify a child's strengths and work with the student to develop a plan to help them be successful.  Additionally, I have extensive training and experience working with anxious children and parents.

Please reach out to me by email jbice2@livoniapublicschools if I can ever be of any assistance.  I look forward to serving the Randolph community.
