Hello Everyone, 

My name is Kristy Adams. I started my journey in education at Eastern Michigan University where I graduated with my Bachelors in Elementary Education with an integrated science comprehensive in April of 2020. I completed my student teaching in Plymouth-Canton Community Schools at Eriksson Elementary in a 4th grade classroom. Before that, I had practicum placements at various elementary schools in the southeastern Michigan area. I am currently enrolled in the graduate program for Educational Leadership at Eastern Michigan University.

I am getting married this year to my fiancé Austen. We have 3 cats. Yes, I am a crazy cat lady! Their names are Stuella, Himba and Batboy. They bring so much humor and joy to our home.

I have coached pompon athletes from the age range of 5th to 12th grade from 2010-2020 in Garden City and Plymouth-Canton. I currently head coach Atomic Pom which is a collegiate level pom team I have been with since 2020. Pom is one of my favorite hobbies and I have been involved in the sport since I was in 7th grade.

I am excited for another year at Johnson Upper Elementary School and I am looking forward to all the learning adventures to come!
