My name is Larry Grezak and I am very excited about starting my 4th year as a Hayes Husky. I have been working with Livonia Public Schools since 2008. I have taught at Emerson, Cooper, Hoover and Webster and spent six school years as the principal of Coolidge Elementary School. Prior to working with LPS, I spent over a decade of my life earning a business degree and working in manufacturing. I left manufacturing in 2004 and have never looked back. Transitioning into education was the best career choice that I have ever made and I love the fact that I no longer go to work - I go to school! The time that I spent at every school during my LPS career was special and they have all played a role in helping me become the educator that I am today.
My wife and I met at the University of Detroit Mercy and we have two active boys who are entering the 9th and 10th grades this school year. They keep us busy at home with football, basketball and track seasons spanning most of the calendar year.
