Welcome to first grade at Hoover Elementary! I look forward to welcoming your child on their first day and providing them with a Daily Folder containing important information. This folder will be used to transport information to and from school each day. First graders will line up by Door 9 by the North Playground. There will be a sign that says Ms. McAlinden located near Door 9 and that will be where your child lines up. I graduated from Michigan State University in 2018 and completed a full year teaching internship through MSU in the 2018-2019 school year in the Walled Lake Consolidated Schools District. I grew up attending Livonia Public Schools and graduated from Livonia Stevenson High School. As an educator I am happy to be working in such a committed district that strives each day for excellence and to provide a safe and joyful environment.
