Hi! My name is Mrs. Matties. I am excited about being your third-grade teacher for the school year. We are going to have so many adventures! I cannot wait to get to know both you and your student. This year is sure to be the best yet! I graduated from EMU with my Bachelors of Science in Elementary and Mathematics Education. I also have a Master's Degree in Learning and Technology. This will be my eighth year teaching third grade. Outside of school, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I live in Livonia with my husband, our two boys, and our dog. I enjoy going up north to our family lake house, crafting, going to sporting events and concerts. I had a great summer, but I am ready to take on the school year with you!
