Hello:

Welcome to the Koala room!  My name is Gail Darby and I have been employed by Livonia Public Schools since November, 2000.  I will be your child's lead teacher in the Koala room for this school year. 

Prior to working at Jackson, I owned and operated a licensed child care home for eleven years.  Currently I hold an Associate's degree in Child Care and Development.

I am married with two children and two awesome grandchildren.  My son has a very successful career as a Computer Engineer and my daughter has a degree in Psychology and is working on her Master's in Social Work.

During the holiday breaks, when childcare is open, and also during the summer, I will be the Supervisor of the Childcare program.
