Mr. Russ Keberly

Hello, my name is Russ Keberly and welcome to my classroom. This is the start of my 24th year at Holmes where I will be teaching English Language Arts, facilitating pilot programs for our new ELA programs and working with our 8th grade staff on the Yearbook. In addition to my role as an educator, I coach Cross Country and Track, I serve as the ELA Department Chair and I collaborate as a member of the Middle School ELA Committee where we work on curricular initiatives. I am most proud to say that my family is an LPS family through and through. I am a product of our school system, and I take great pride in the opportunity I have every day to give back to the community that helped shape my beliefs. During my time in LPS I attended Cleveland Elementary, Emerson Middle School and Franklin High School. My daughter, Brynn, recently graduated from Stevenson and is now attending Wayne State University pursuing a degree in Nursing. My son, Logan, is a Sophomore at Stevenson who is involved in the swim program, and my wife, Janell, is a science teacher at Frost. I look forward to the prospect of making continued relationships with our students and families this year.

A few interesting facts about me:

I am a photographer in my free time.

I enjoy being active: mt. biking, cycling, basketball.
