I would like to take a moment to introduce myself.  My name is John Farkas and I will be teaching eighth grade science to your child this year.  I graduated from Western Michigan University with my Bachelor’s Degree and received my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Wayne State University.  This is the start of my 27th year of teaching for Livonia Public Schools.  I taught sixth grade at Adams Elementary for 10 years, 2 years at Cooper Upper Elementary and I've been at Holmes ever since.  I'm looking forward to another great year! Go Hawks!
