I am a third grade teacher at Hayes Elementary. This is my 25th year in Livonia Public Schools. During that time I've been a 3rd and 4th Grade Teacher. I am married to my wife Kimberly and I have two sons---Aidan (18) and Carter (16).  Aidan is in his freshman year at Grand Valley State U. and Carter is a junior at Novi HS. I live in Novi. I grew up in the upper peninsula of Michigan in a small town on the western end called Ironwood. I come from a large family of six kids and we are spread throughout the Michigan, Wisconsin, and Illinois. My teaching degree is from Eastern Michigan University. In my free time I enjoy cycling, golfing, traveling, and reading at the coffee shop. My life is filled with kid stuff, my teaching work, and home stuff---we did a kitchen remodel over the summer, working with my son Carter and a contractor to demo and redo an old and outdated kitchen.I look forward to the upcoming school year and getting to know all of my students.
