Welcome to Hayes! My name is Alaina Kennedy and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach and learn with our students this year. I am an Elementary Support Teacher and am excited to provide individualized academic support for our students. I look forward to meeting more of our families and would like to help you get to know more about me.

     I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and endorsements in math and reading. I then completed my master’s degree in Curriculum Design and Instruction. I have taught first, second, and third grade at Hayes and am delighted to continue teaching and supporting our staff and students in this exceptional school and district. I strive to represent the vision and community that defines Livonia Public Schools. My husband, Jim, and I welcomed our first daughter into our home last summer and we have loved watching her grow!
