Welcome to the new school year at Rosedale Elementary! My name is Christina Emmick and I will be your child’s kindergarten teacher. I am looking forward to a productive, creative, and exciting year together! There are many things to look forward to in kindergarten, including becoming young readers, working with words, journal writing, literacy centers, hands-on math activities, integrated science and social studies units, and so much more.

A little bit about Mrs. Emmick…

I graduated from Loyola University Chicago and started my teaching career in 2010. In Chicago, I was a first grade teacher and fell in love with it! My wonderful husband and I moved back home to Michigan in 2014 and absolutely love it. We have two adorable dogs, Sadie and Millie. I enjoy getting lost in good books, doing yoga, and spending quality time with my family and friends. Since being back in Michigan, I have taught 4th, 2nd, 1st, and kindergarten. I feel very fortunate to be a part of the Rosedale family!
