Michele Quigley has been teaching for more than 20 years. She has taught Kindergarten through 4th grade. She has taught a Multi-Age class comprised of first through third graders in one class. She believes in building relationships with each student and his/her family. She chooses to ¨loop¨ with her students whenever she can. That is, she stays with her students through the next grade. She can proudly state her families have always chosen to stay with her for those two years.

Michele differientates her instruction. She believes in teaching students where they are in their academics. This helps the students feel most successful. She teaches reading, writing and math in small groups. This allows for the most effective differientated instruction.

Michele tells her students she LOVES to have fun! Having fun is very possible in learning when the students understand integrity. Michele explains integrity to the students as, ¨Doing the right thing is ALWAYS the right thing to do.¨ 

She welcomes family involvement and feedback! She values learning and growing; this is best obtained by hearing the perspectives of her students and their families.
