Mrs. Romeo, formerly Ms. Gizzi has taught at Churchill since 1996.  She graduated from Western Michigan University with a Major in Sociology, and minored in Scocial Studies and Health.  Affter graduation, she attened Wayne State for a post Bachelor's Biology.  Since then she has recieved her Masters in Teaching with a focus on Curriculum.  She has taught most social studies classes as well as Health Education.  She currently teaches World History and Sociology.

Mrs. Romeo has a played a role as club sponsor of the Diversity Club for almost 20 years, and has lead the Social Justice League for the last 5 years.  She is and has been involved in several organizations and been a member of several committees devoted to equity for all students.  She works tirelessly to create an environment where all students are safe to be themselves and to learn.
