I started teaching in Livonia Public schools in 1990.  I have a Bachelor's in Science with a Major in Physical Education and  Minor in Health.  I also have a Master's degree from Eastern Michigan University in Guidance and Counseling.  I have taught Physical Education and Health at all three levels.  I started teaching at Nankin Mills elementary school in 1990.  I have incredible memories of being a young teacher surrounded by a staff, students and parents who were passionate about being part of the Nankin Mills family.  I moved on to Holmes Middle school in 1993 where I was able to teach and coach 4 different sports.  In 1995 was offered the opportunity to move to Churchill.  I was coaching Junior Varsity softball at the time so I was pleased to become part of the C.H.S. P.E. staff.  During my time at Churchill, I was fortunate to spend eight years as a guidance counselor.  In 2008, I asked if I could return to teaching Physical Education and Health.  Currently I teach;  Personal Fitness, Health, Leisure and Recreation, Lifeguarding and Peer Connections.  I am passionate about my subject matter and I hope to instill that passion in the students who are part of the Churchill community.
