Ms. Linda Cohan

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year. I am looking forward to getting to know each one of my students and their families as we embark on a new year of learning. This will be my 29th year of teaching and I have loved being an educator. I have taught grades second through sixth grade and have loved fifth grade the past five years.  I have two adult children and a dog named Kaydin. My daughter is a kindergarten teacher and my son is in his final semester at M.S.U. I have recently become a grandma  to a funny and  curious grandson named Bodhi. I love to take walks, kayak, and explore small towns. I was a Buckeye until I was 16 and then moved to Livonia and became a Churchill Charger.  I am a believer in creating a classroom where everyone encourages each other to reach their personal goals. I know we will have a wonderful year. I encourage communication through Class Dojo, e-mail, daily planners, and phone calls. Please do not hesitate to call with any questions or concerns throughout the year. I know with your support your children will have a great fifth grade experience.
