Welcome to Fifth Grade at Cooper Upper Elementary School!  I'm thrilled to be your teacher!  This is my twelveth year teaching at Cooper and my tenth year teaching fifth grade.  Before becoming a teacher, I worked as an Exercise Physiologist at a hospital in Wisconsin.  I went back to school to become a teacher after my own children, Catherine, Julia and Michael were grown. It was a great decision because I love teaching and look forward to meeting new students each year. Fifth grade is a fantastic adventure filled with change and new experiences.  We are going to have a wonderful year together learning and growing. I want you to be happy this year and will do everything that I can to make you feel comfortable.  It's going to be a great year!
