Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Marena Maier

I really enjoy teaching students math in class and tutoring students after school. In both of these situations I witness them increase their confidence, and knowledge. I have a unique opportunity every day to watch students learn, grow, and thrive from ninth grade to graduation. I have been fortunate enough to teach for twenty-nine wonderful years and have sincerely enjoyed twenty-one years at Stevenson. My degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Mathematics Education and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership.
In addition to teaching, this is my nineteenth year volunteering as the National Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) Advisor, overseeing seven student officers and sixty-three members who facilitate various awareness and community service activities.

This year all course information, material, and assignments for your student can be found in my google classroom.  If you have not yet joined and would like to, please use the link that I email you.  Grades should be viewed on parent connect and not google classroom, with the expectation that grades will be updated on a weekly basis. Should you have any questions that require an email, please include your student's name, hour, and any questions or concerns in briefly and direct manner for a quick reply. Thank you.

I look forward to helping your student think, analyze, and learn this year.
