Welcome to 3rd grade Hoover families!  I'm so happy to be teaching here and love our school and community.  

I've been working with Livonia Public Schools for more than 28 years now and have taught 2nd -5th grades.  Teaching is my passion and I love what I do every day!   I am a Western Michigan and Marygrove College grad (Bachelors and Masters degree).  I live in Monroe with my husband John and our Goldendoodle Stella.  Our son Nieko is in the United States NAVY stationed in Guam and our daughter Colleen is studying at Michigan State University (GO GREEN!).

Communication is important.  I will be communicating with you through a variety of methods including newsletters/updates, e-mail, Remind Text, phone and good old pen and paper.  Feel free to write me a note, send me an e-mal, or stop by with questions or concerns and I will do the same.

I'm thrilled to be your child's teacher this year and look forward to all the great things happening at Hoover!  Let's work together so that your child can be their best self and maximize their learning time in third grade!
