Welcome to first grade at Hoover Elementary!! It is going to be an exciting year for your first grade Rocket. I look forward to welcoming your child on the first day & providing your child with a Daily Folder containing important information. This folder will travel back & forth between home and school each day. First Grade Rockets line up at Door 9 by the North playground. There will be signs with teacher names on them during the first week & your child will line up behind the one labelled Mrs. Eckerle. This is my 20th year with LPS; prior to teaching in Livonia I also taught in Indianapolis. Like many of you, I am family oriented. I've been married for 25 years to my wonderful husband Ken. We are the proud parents of two grown sons, both of whom are graduates of LPS.
